Few ups and downs |
Itoi River-Shizuoka fault line was pushed by big power,then the fault line
was slipped down and land subsidence occured. Suwa lake was formed by staying
of water there.
About 2000 years ago(ancient tomb time), Suwa lake was a big lake. However,
owing to accumulation of soil and sand or recent cultivation, the area
of the lake became half of that time.
This means there are few ups and downs around Suwa lake, and it's adequate
distance to ride around it for sightseeners in general. |
